  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in psychology, double-major with Spanish, Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH

Specialized training and experience:

  • One year of training at The Kelly O’Leary Center for ASD at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital conducting psychological evaluations and providing intensive behavior therapy to young children with autism in an EIBI classroom
  • Experience providing psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and psychological evaluations to children and adults in community mental health and primary care settings
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to Spanish-speaking individuals

Areas of Clinical Interest:

Dr. Kelly is a post-doctoral psychology fellow who received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Xavier University.  While at Xavier, he elected to complete the program’s clinical child and adolescent psychology area of interest, consisting of completion of child-specific classes and training in child and adolescent settings.   Dr. Kelly’s graduate training experiences included providing assessment and therapy to children and adults in a variety of treatment settings.  Although he has experience working with individuals of various ages utilizing a variety of treatment approaches (e.g., CBT, motivational interviewing, etc.), Dr. Kelly’s training has primarily focused on providing assessment and individual/family therapy to children and adolescents with disruptive behavior disorders, ADHD, and emotional disorders.
